Dominic Burns graduated in 1981 and spent the first 15 years of his career as a hospital pharmacist in England, Canada, and Ireland. Positions held include Chief Pharmacist Cork University Hospital and Chief Pharmacist Kerry General Hospital. Margo Burns qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1985 and practiced in England and subsequently in Canada. In 1995 Margo became one of the first nurses in Kerry to qualify as an Asthma Advice Nurse through the National Asthma & Respiratory Training Centre, UK. In 1996 Dominic and Margo set up their first community pharmacy in Caherslee, Tralee. The service was subsequently relocated in 1998 to larger premises at Mounthawk, Tralee. In March 2014 they opened a second branch at Balloonagh Medical Centre, Spa Road, Tralee.
